Differences between the fanfiction and the events that happen in the television series.
Chapter 1[]
- The doctor, Dr. Hale, tells Douglas Leo will never be able to use his arm again. In the original episode, Douglas mentioned that the reason he gave Leo bionics was because the doctor said Leo would not be able to use his arm again. (You Posted What)
- Tasha assaulted Douglas when he was first living with the family for trying to kill Leo and Donald and kidnapping Bree, Adam and Chase. It refers to Douglas trying to blow up the lab with Donald and Leo in it and kidnapping the Lab Rats afterwards. (No Going Back, Sink or Swim)
- " Of course, who knew what would happen to Leo, but he knew the kid would survive (He should know, Marcus failed to kill Leo so many times, the kid was able to outsmart his android son and cheat death)." It refers to Douglas sending Marcus to finish off Leo but he survived a blast wave from Marcus thanks to wearing a protective vest, effectively outwitting him. (Bionic Showdown)
- Douglas inquires about the woman they came with and Doctor Hale answers that no one has seen her since they came back. Perry had gone for food and left Leo unattended to, which probably let Douglas take Leo out of the hospital in You Posted What.
- In the story, Douglas finds Leo hooked up to machines monitoring his heart rate and sees his heavily bandaged arm. When he sees that Perry left Leo unattended to, Douglas carefully lifts Leo into a wheel chair and wheels him out when no one is watching. In the show, it's never shown how Douglas even got Leo out of the hospital. The fact that is known is Douglas took Leo to Krane's warehouse to give him Bionics when Perry left him unattended to. - Douglas claims he knows that Leo wanted to be bionic because he spied on him and the rest of the family because of the security cameras he had Marcus put in and mentioned he used them to spy on the family. Both of this refer to Leo's desire to be bionic in several episodes. (Rats on a Train, Three Minus Bree, etc.)
- Douglas had Marcus go over to the Davenports' house to plant them all over the lab and used them to spy on the family in several episodes. (Mission: Space, Speed Trapped, Bionic Showdown)
- The rest of Chapter 1 and 2 are basically retellings of the scene that Leo learning he has bionics
- "He was in the warehouse Krane took him and his mother when he had abducted them to use Donald, Adam, Bree, and Chase as bait." This refers to the events of "Taken".
Chapter 2[]
- Leo calls Douglas his once-evil uncle, referring to his actions in season 2.
- Once again, Leo mentions that Douglas tried to kill him and thinks that he healed his arm because it would act as a "thank you" and an apology.
- Leo mentions Marcus trying to kill him again.
- Leo mentions Tasha to Douglas like this: "She's still not used to having Bree, Adam, and Chase in the house, given that Big D did not tell us about them when we moved in. " In Bionic Houseparty, Leo mentions to his siblings that Tasha is not used to Adam, Bree and Chase still living there.
- Douglas tells Leo to take a deep breath and to calm down. However, every time Leo takes one, Douglas keeps interrupting him, only for Leo to snap and says he gets it. This is similar to how Adam tried reassuring Bree in the episode Chip Switch and how to pull the elevator up, but Adam interrupts her every time she is about to, only for Bree to snap at him to shut up.
- Douglas mentions Leo can take someone out with a Laser Sphere, which he does to Krane in the episode "You Posted What?!?"
Chapter 3[]
- Leo mentions Trent has been too scared to pick on him because of the orb incident and because of his bionic siblings. This refers to Trent's disappearance since "Scramble the Orbs".
- Leo is aware of Douglas turning off his bioics at school but in the show, he does not find out until Douglas tells him he has a remote that turns off his bionics. However, Douglas secretly keeps them turned on so Leo won't activate his ability.
- A reporter asks if it is true Douglas went ot jail five times. It causes Douglas to sanp and say he was arrested four times. He mentions being arrested four times in "Bionic Action Hero." It may be a reference to the iCarly episode "IFred" where a reporter asked if Sam was arrested four times, she corrects them and says she was arrested three times.
- "Just this week, he had crushed Principal Perry's hand, nearly singed of Douglas' hair, and destroyed a couch stool when he was trying to swat at a fly." That refers to Leo crushing Perry's hand and accidentally, singeing Douglas' hair off in "You Posted What!?!" and destroying a couch stool in "Armed and Dangerous."
- Leo and Douglas have a similar exchange about Leo's bionics, however it is turned into more of an argument and causing a slight rift in their relationship.
Chapter 6[]
- In the original show, Donald chastised Adam, Bree and Chase for ignoring his calls and missions to help people. In the fanfiction, the same things happen but Leo later chews them out on it. Originally, the siblings feel bad because they ignored the mission and let Leo get hurt. However, he is mad over them ignoring the mission over his injury.
- In the show, Donald went on the mission alone. Here, he takes Leo with him, despite Douglas' protests that Leo is not ready to go on a Mission because his arm isn't trained yet.
Chapter 7[]
- Adam uses his pressurized lung ability, but the events of Brother Battle are mentioned because in the original continuity, fans noted that his Pressurized Lung Capacity was showed prematurely in "Armed and Dangerous."
